Excellent site - have you any idea what kind of send off is planned when the "beautiful lady" leaves New York fot the last time on the 16th of October. I am fortunate enough to be travelling on her for my last trip on her - what memories i have of her - she is immortal and we sadly will never see the like of her again.
Interesting blog! I missed out on tickets on the QE2 having sailed her once a few years ago I would have loved to have sailed on her last trip from NY. I am doing the next best thing though, and will be on the QM2 sailing side by side. I too would love to know what celebrations are planned for her send off. I'll wave to all you QE2'ers across the atlantic when we set sail!
