



Ian J. posted today these fantastic pictures of the QE2 and the QM" leaving Southampton in their way to New York.
Yesterday I finished work at 15:30 and we headed off south to see if we could see the QE2 and QM2 both leaving on a trans-Atlantic cruise. They were due to sail at 17:00, so I calculated the Le on Solent would be a good vantage point and buy us some precious minutes to allow for Friday evening traffic. We arrived at Lee on Solent at 17:45 and the ships were just in view.
